As of January 1, 2025, duty stamps will no longer be accepted for administrative and court fee payments. Their validity expires on December 31, 2024. So now is the last chance to use them or sell them back at the post office.
From January 2025, all other and existing fee payment instruments, such as payment by card or cash or bank transfer, will be available at the offices or courts.
This change affects also foreign nationals paying fees for immigration procedures at the Ministry of Interior.
New Payment Methods:
- In-Person: Use a debit or credit card at Ministry of Interior offices.
- By Mail/Data Box: Pay via bank transfer using the Payment Information Generator on the Foreigners’ Information Portal.
